Decoration Options

With a wide range of branding methods available, learn about the different decoration techniques and the benefits and features of each.

Embroidery

Embroidery is a popular choice when branding clothing, headwear and other fabric products. Computer controlled embroidery machines are utilised for a fast and effective high quality finish.

Pad Printing

Pad printing is one of the most popular and affordable branding techniques for promotional products as it can print onto flat or curved surfaces in PMS spot colours. The print size may be limited by the curvature of the product.

Screen Print

Silk screens can be used to print one or more colours on flat surfaces, suitable for products or signage as well as fabrics. It is a popular technique as large print areas and solid colours are economically achievable.

Laser Engraving

Laser engraving uses lasers to engrave precise and complex brands into an object. The technique gives an elegant and permanent decoration to products, and optional oxidising can be added to enhance the contrast

Sublimation

Sublimation ink is printed onto transfer paper and then heat pressed onto the product or fabric. This branding method has the ability to print full colour, edge-to-edge, and is less prone to fading.

Digital Transfer

Digital transfers are used for branding fabrics, where full colour images are printed on transfer paper using a digital printing process, then heat pressed onto the product. Due to the time involved, this method is not the best solution for large quantities.

Rotary Digital Print

Print your designs all the way around select bottles and cups with vibrant, full colour wraps. Enables you to create larger designs that are printed directly on the full circumference of the cup or bottle with a seamless join.

Deboss

Debossing is a technique used to imprint images onto paper, leather, or vinyl. To deboss, an image is pressed into the material so that it creates an elegant and classy depressed effect.

Direct Digital Print

Direct to product digital printing involves the transfer of ink directly from the print heads of an inkjet machine to the product and can be used to produce both spot colour and full colour branding on flat or slightly curved surfaces.

Doming

In doming a sticker is equiped with a resin layer (epoxy). This layer is crystal clear, protecting the image below and transforming graphics into visually appealing three-dimensional decorative items.

Labels

Digital adhesive labels are used to brand products that cannot be branded with any other method. They are printed with a digital printing press and applied to the product, as an economical option.

Imitation Etch

Imitation or mock etching uses a special pad printing ink and creates a laser etched like effect on glass products. It produces a subtle finish that looks like laser engraving yet can be done at a lower cost. It can be applied to cure or flat surfaces.
